This Cookie Policy explains how Vibe Muse LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on vibe-muse.com, and how you can control them.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They are used to make websites work, to remember preferences and to understand how a site is used.
2. How we use cookies
We keep our website as light as possible. We do not use advertising cookies. We use analytics cookies from Microsoft Clarity only if you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. Until you accept, Microsoft Clarity measures how the website is used without setting any cookie.
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Technical storage required to deliver the pages securely (for example load balancing and protection against abuse by our hosting provider). | Not required |
| Functional | Remembering your cookie choice (stored in your browser’s local storage under the key vm-consent for 13 months). | Not required: strictly needed to respect your choice |
| Analytics & performance | Microsoft Clarity: understanding how visitors use the website (heatmaps, anonymised session replays, usage statistics) to improve it. | Required: set only after you click “Accept” |
| Marketing | Measuring advertising campaigns. Not currently used. | Required, before any cookie is set |
If you click “Reject” or ignore the banner, no analytics cookie is set. Microsoft Clarity still measures how pages are used in a cookieless mode: each page view is treated on its own and cannot be linked to your other visits.
Microsoft Clarity cookies
Set only after you accept analytics cookies. Microsoft describes these cookies in its Clarity cookie list.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_clck | Keeps the same Clarity user ID and preferences across visits | 1 year |
_clsk | Connects several page views into a single session | 1 day |
CLID | Identifies the first time Clarity saw this user on any Clarity site | 1 year |
MUID | Identifies unique web browsers visiting Microsoft sites | 1 year |
ANONCHK, MR, SM | Technical Microsoft cookies used to synchronise and refresh the identifier above | From the session to 7 days |
3. Third-party services
Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) provides our website analytics (cookieless by default, with cookies only if you consent) under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Our contact form is delivered by FormSubmit, which receives technical data such as your IP address when you submit the form and is responsible for its own use of cookies under its own policy. External websites we link to (for example our clients’ stores) have their own cookie policies.
4. Managing cookies
- Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Each browser explains how in its help section.
- Use the banner shown on your first visit to accept or reject analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, Clarity stops using cookies and returns to cookieless measurement.
- Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent some parts of the website from working correctly.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our website or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the current version.
